Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Architect to lead the design, integration, and optimization of SAP solutions across core business processes. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in ABAP development, strong functional knowledge of MM, SD, Manufacturing, CS, and PM modules, solid understanding of SAP Basis and PI/PO, and a working knowledge of AWS cloud landscapes. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Design end-to-end SAP solutions covering MM, SD, Manufacturing, CS, and PS modules
  • Define SAP technical architecture including custom developments, integrations, enhancements, and performance optimization
  • Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards, security policies, and scalability requirements
  • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
  • Provide guidance on best practices for SAP configuration vs. custom development decisions
  • Review and approve functional and technical design documents
  • Provide expert guidance on ABAP, OO ABAP, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows
  • Ensure high-quality code standards, performance optimization, and reusability
  • Support development teams in complex problem resolution
  • Architect and oversee integrations using SAP PI/PO with SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Define interface strategies including IDocs, RFCs, proxy services, and web services
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable integration patterns
  • Collaborate with Basis teams on system landscapes, transports, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
  • Support system refreshes, migrations, and cutover activities
  • Ensure system availability and compliance with operational standards
  • Work with infrastructure teams to support SAP systems on or integrated with AWS cloud environments
  • Possess a basic understanding of AWS services, networking, security, and hybrid SAP architectures
  • Assist in planning and execution of cloud-related initiatives (migrations, integrations, DR setups)
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines
  • Support audits, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities

Requirements

  • Any Degree
  • 10+ Years of experience
  • Strong expertise in SAP ABAP / OO ABAP
  • Solid functional knowledge of: SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), Manufacturing / PP, SAP CS (Customer Service), SAP PS (Project Systems)
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO
  • Good understanding of SAP Basis concepts
  • Basic understanding of AWS cloud landscape and SAP on cloud architectures
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, complex enterprise environments
