Our Client is seeking an experienced SAP Technical UX Designer to support a major enterprise ERP modernization and field service transformation initiative under the SAP Plus program. The goal of this role is to drive measurable user adoption and workflow efficiency by designing intuitive, low-effort, and standardized end-to-end user experiences.
Job Responsibility
Lead user research and discovery efforts, conducting interviews, surveys, field observations, and workshops with office staff and field technicians
Synthesize raw research findings into functional personas, journey maps, and user requirement matrices to guide technical design choices
Design and optimize end-to-end user experiences across SAP S/4HANA Fiori applications and mobile field tools
Create streamlined user flows, logical information architectures, and wireframes that reduce manual effort and system navigation
Develop low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs and prototypes aligned strictly with standard SAP Fiori design patterns
Plan and execute usability tests and user feedback sessions on interactive prototypes and pre-release software components
Analyze test results to identify usability gaps, iteratively refining layouts to ensure accessibility and offline usability for field service personnel
Prepare comprehensive UX documentation, design specifications, user flows, and UI behavior guidelines for technical delivery
Collaborate closely with developers to resolve UI design questions, adjust wireframes for technical feasibility, and validate that the final build matches design intent
Establish, define, and enforce consistent, reusable UX patterns across S/4HANA, Work Zone, and mobile platforms to prevent interface fragmentation
Partner daily with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to align design layout solutions with business processes and SAP platform constraints
Interface directly with IT developers, QA teams, and System Integrator (SI) vendors to maintain design integrity during build, test, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
Contribute directly to change management and training initiatives by providing key inputs for user onboarding materials and in-app contextual help
Monitor post-go-live user feedback and usage analytics data to identify continuous UX improvement opportunities and drive post-launch enhancements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field (Master's degree is considered an asset)

Strong preference for candidates who have participated in large-scale digital transformation initiatives, such as enterprise ERP implementations
Strong familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or general ERP platforms and their user interfaces
Advanced knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP UI5 design methodologies, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) extensions
Knowledge of mobile UX design standards (iOS and Android) alongside experience designing for field service or offline-capable mobile workforce tools
Advanced proficiency with modern wireframing and prototyping platforms, specifically Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent applications
Deep understanding of user-centered design frameworks, design thinking protocols, accessibility standards, and responsive design concepts
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to present and defend design rationales to multi-disciplinary stakeholders
Strong analytical mindset to seamlessly align abstract business requirements with real-world user empathy
Highly self-driven and organized, with a demonstrated capability to lead design efforts from concept through production delivery within an agile project environment
