SAP Technical Delivery Manager – 6 Month Contract

Job Responsibility

  • Managing the effective delivery of a number of tactical SAP changes within the backlog
  • Ensuring optimal use of the resources with team to maximise throughput and therefore value to the business
  • Promote DevOps principals: Collaboration, Customer centric decision making, Focus on automation and efficiency, Failure as a learning opportunity, Generative, performance orientated culture, Metric influenced continuous improvement, Agile ways of working including 13 week PI planning cycles, stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives

Requirements

  • Applies knowledge, skills and training to deliver the information technology solutions required to allow the business to meet its strategic and tactical goals
  • Ensures all DevOps activities align with the organisation's strategic goals
  • Collaborates with Product Leads and other stakeholders to align PI objectives with business needs
  • Provides specialist advice on information management, including advice on and promotion of collaborative working
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures and overall information management strategy
  • Has defined authority and accountability for actions and decisions within a significant area of work, including technical, financial and quality aspects
  • Establishes organisational objectives and assigns responsibilities
  • Influences organisation, customers, suppliers, partners and peers on the contribution of own specialism
  • Makes decisions which impact the success of assigned work, i.e. results, deadlines and budget
  • Has significant influence over the allocation and management of resources appropriate to given assignments
  • Leads on user/customer and group collaboration throughout all stages of work
  • Ensures users' needs are met consistently through each work stage
  • Builds appropriate and effective business relationships across the organisation and with customers, suppliers and partners
  • Creates and supports collaborative ways of working across group/area of responsibility
