Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior SAP Payroll Lead with proven Australian Payroll experience to lead the deployment and support of Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and enhance payroll systems and processes for efficiency and client satisfaction. You will drive end-to-end payroll implementations, ensure compliance and accuracy, and contribute to strategic HR and payroll transformation initiatives. The role can be performed remotely within Australia, with travel during key milestones, and you will also have the option to work from any of our Australian or New Zealand offices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide best-practice HCM guidance by analysing client requirements and developing effective configuration solutions
  • Lead SAP Payroll and/or ECP implementation and support projects with a focus on Australian Payroll compliance
  • Redesign, document, and optimise payroll-related business processes
  • Design solutions, estimate effort, prioritise gaps, and build implementation timelines
  • Build and test prototypes
  • manage solution configuration and cutover
  • Define testing approach, develop and execute test scripts, and resolve gaps
  • Conduct data migration and ensure smooth transition to production
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing SAP Payroll solutions
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Australian Payroll configuration and compliance
  • Expertise (and ideally certification) in SAP ECP, SAP HCM, SAP HCM Payroll, and SuccessFactors to SAP HCM integration
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities
  • Strong commitment to client satisfaction, even in challenging environments
  • Innovative mindset with a drive for process improvement
