Job Description:

The SAP Order to Cash Solution Advisor role involves delivering impactful sales presentations and software demonstrations to prospective clients. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience with SAP solutions, particularly in the Order to Cash area. Strong relationship management and presentation skills are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and deliver software demonstrations in support of sales cycles
  • In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer
  • Reinforce the business value of SAP solutions through creation of compelling presentations, demonstrations and participation in value engineering engagements
  • Stay up to date with the latest SAP solutions as well as industry trends
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries to maintain credibility with prospective customers
  • Complete sections of SAP responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Post-sale, communicate the business requirements to project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition
  • Collaborate with sales teams to participate in various one-to-many lead-generating activities
  • Stay up to date with your solution area and the latest SAP solutions as well as industry trends
  • Transfer adequate understanding of your solution area to the sales team so they can identify appropriate opportunities for your solution area and engage with you in this regard
  • Promote teamwork culture with the virtual sales support team
  • Establish credibility and relationships with client decision makers in each account
  • Participate in account transition to ensure proper and consistent communication with customer and the implementation delivery team
  • Develop successful relationships with partners, itelligence consultants, solution architects and consulting managers
  • Contribute to the effective development and deployment of account strategy through ongoing collaboration with the Account Executives
  • Identify client key business requirements/drivers and challenges within respective functional areas of responsibility
  • Leverage industry knowledge, business process expertise, and functional knowledge to both develop and demonstrate potential solutions as enabled by SAP software
  • Maintain knowledge and skills regarding SAP Best Practice process demo scenarios within respective functional areas of responsibility
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of industry-specific demonstration systems
  • Work with Industry Solution Principles(s) and fellow solution engineers to help develop/configure demo scripts with supporting master data to satisfy prospect-specific requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • One to three years of prior success and experience performing consulting, sales support, application support, and training with enterprise software solutions
  • 1 or more years of like experience with SAP software required
  • Specific experience in SAP S/4 order to cash, including but not limited to, SD-Sales, SD-Distribution, SD-Pricing, Credit Management, Quote/Orders/Contracts, Core S/4 TM-Transportation Management, ATP, and Consignment

Nice to have:

  • One or more years of direct SAP presales experience delivering customer discoveries, software demonstrations, in competitive software selections cycles
  • Experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Logistics and Purchasing
  • Experience in SAP S/4 Service Management and/or C/4 CRM-Customer Relationship Management
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, consumer products durables, consumer products food, wholesale distribution, chemicals, retail, mill products or aerospace and defense
  • Proven ability to effectively comprehend industry requirements and configure/enhance the SAP solution to support/satisfy the requirements
