We are currently seeking a SAP Service Parts Planning Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN). Our client, Daimler Truck North America, a Daimler Truck AG company, is the largest heavy-duty truck manufacturer in North America and a leading producer of medium-duty trucks and specialized commercial vehicles
Job Responsibility:
Needs to have 5+ yrs of experience in implementation & Support of SAP SPP module
System Configuration & Design: Configure SAP APO-SPP or S/4HANA eSPP to handle complex demand patterns, forecasting, inventory balancing, and replenishment
Demand Planning & Forecasting: Analyze historical demand data and use predictive algorithms/machine learning to forecast demand, especially for low-volume or sporadic parts
Inventory Optimization: Configure stocking/non-stocking decisions, safety stock calculations, and Economic Order Quantities (EOQ) using multi-echelon inventory optimization
Supply Planning & Deployment: Manage deployment of parts across distribution centers (BOD), including planning purchase requisitions and stock transfers
Integration Support: Ensure seamless functionality between SPP and SAP SD (Sales), MM (Materials Management), and EWM (Warehouse Management)
Support & Testing: Participate in end-to-end implementation projects, including testing, training, troubleshooting, and go-live support
Requirements:
Significant experience (often 5+ years) implementing SAP APO-SPP or S/4HANA extended Service Parts Planning
Strong knowledge of the aftermarket supply chain, spare parts distribution networks, and BOM management
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM or SCM systems
5+ yrs of experience in implementation & Support of SAP SPP module
Flexible to work in different shifts as per project need
Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (05.30am to 05.30 pm PST)
