Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD IS Retail Senior Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA SD and IS Retail modules to support implementation, rollout, and support engagements in the Retail Electronics industry. The consultant will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Order-to-Cash (OTC), POS Connectivity, and eCommerce integration processes. The role requires understanding business requirements, configuring SAP solutions, managing retail master data, supporting testing cycles, resolving production issues, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP and retail systems. Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Understand and analyse existing business processes within SAP SD and IS Retail modules and translate business requirements into functional solutions aligned with retail best practices
  • Prepare comprehensive test scripts based on the Business Process Master List (BPML), conduct Unit Testing and Integration Testing, and validate complete OTC, POS, and eCommerce scenarios
  • Validate existing SD and Retail master data, prepare master data for testing, and ensure accuracy of Site Master, Article Master, Business Partner, and pricing-related configurations
  • Test and validate standard Fiori Apps related to SD and Retail modules and ensure proper functionality in S/4HANA environments
  • Work closely with OTC, POS, and eCommerce stakeholders to ensure all business scenarios are thoroughly tested, documented, and aligned with operational requirements
  • Document test results, prepare user manuals, maintain issue logs, and provide structured updates during project meetings
  • Monitor and validate background jobs, resolve production issues from stores, Distribution Centres (DCs), and Service Centres related to sales transactions, tenders, stock discrepancies, and master data errors
  • Identify and resolve queue failures, stuck IDocs, and stock status inconsistencies to ensure smooth retail operations and system stability
  • Support rollout activities, post-go-live stabilisation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SD and IS Retail landscape

Requirements:

  • 10–12 years of SAP experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SD (minimum 5 years)
  • SAP IS Retail (minimum 4 years) especially in retail operations such as wholesale, POS sales, and online sales
  • At least one full end-to-end implementation in ECC or S/4HANA as an SAP IS Retail SD Consultant
  • Experience in rollout and support projects
  • Strong knowledge of the complete Order-to-Cash (OTC) process
  • Hands-on experience in Retail Master Data management
  • Good understanding of Retail enterprise structure, merchandise hierarchy, product hierarchy, assortment management, and retail pricing configuration
  • Experience in POS integration, eCommerce interfaces, IDoc monitoring, background job validation, and resolving sales and stock-related system issues
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with business and technical teams

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of S/4HANA Activate Methodology
  • Experience in Vistex Rebate Management
  • Hands-on experience in activating and testing standard Fiori Apps related to SD/IS Retail modules
  • SAP Certification in SAP Retail or S/4HANA SD module
  • Prior experience working in the retail or Electronics industry environments
