You will also play a key role in migration of legacy Z-objects, integration with other modules (MM, PS, CS, FI/CO), and enablement of advanced capabilities such as Advanced Intercompany Sales (AICoS), Advanced Returns Management (ARM), pricing via BRF+, variant configuration, and embedded analytics. Must have experience in end-to-end deployment/implementation for at least 1 project.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform fit-to-standard assessments for SAP S/4HANA: identify what can be configured out-of-box and where extensions/refactoring are needed (e.g., intercompany trade→ AICoS)
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA SD functionality including sales order types, item categories, schedule line categories, pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, credit management, delivery, billing, intercompany billing, returns processes
  • Work on master-data strategy: customer/vendor integration (CVI), business partner data, item categories, sales organizations, plants, etc. Review and rationalise Z-objects (custom item categories, sales orgs, etc.)
  • Enable advanced features: intercompany sales (AICoS), returns management (ARM), variant configuration, embedded analytics dashboards, Fiori apps for sales & distribution, output management (BRF+)
  • Integrate SD with MM, PS, CS, FI/CO, EWM, TM
  • ensure seamless end-to-end flows across modules
  • Create functional specifications for configuration, enhancements (only where absolutely required), and integration (IDocs, EDI maps, middleware)
  • Support testing: unit, integration, regression, UAT for SD processes
  • author test scripts, lead test cycles, manage go-live cut-over activities
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users
  • prepare documentation such as configuration guides, process flows, user manuals
  • Post-go-live support for SD module, including issue analysis, performance tuning, process optimization, and continuous improvement (e.g., reducing custom code footprint)
  • Work within the agile SAFe/ART framework for the S/4HANA migration program
  • participate in PI planning, backlog refinement, sprint delivery, retrospectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 10+ years total & 3+ years S4 with solutioning for 3 deployments
  • Deep knowledge of SAP SD module: sales order to cash, delivery, billing, credit management, intercompany processes, variant configuration, pricing (condition technique)
  • Proven experience working in large global organizations (multi-company-code, multinational, distributed teams) and complex business processes (product, project, service)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA capabilities: Advanced ATP (aATP), Advanced Intercompany Sales (AICoS), Returns Management (ARM), Business Partner/CVI, BRF+, Fiori apps, embedded analytics
  • Strong understanding of integration points: MM, PS, CS, FI/CO, EWM, TM
  • experience in inter-company trade flows, EDI/IDoc setups, custom code rationalization
  • Excellent workshop facilitation, business-process mapping, gap-analysis and blueprinting skills
  • Strong configuration skills in SAP SD (sales orders, item categories, schedule lines, pricing procedures, master data)
  • Familiarity with data migration strategy, master-data cleanup and rationalization (e.g., customers, vendors, materials, Z-object inventory)
  • Excellent communication (English), stakeholder management, documentation and training skills
  • SAP SD and/or SAP S/4HANA certification is highly desirable

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to SAFe agile delivery, multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in a large-scale ERP migration
  • Experience with SAP Field Service Management (FSM), Customer Service (CS) module, Commercial Project Management (CPM)
  • Experience in manufacturing, high-tech, global supply-chain heavy industries
  • Ability to travel (domestic & international) as required
