Job Description

The SAP S/4HANA IBP Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions to optimize supply chain and demand planning processes. The role ensures seamless integration between IBP, S/4HANA, and other supply chain systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the implementation of SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, Response, S&OP)
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into IBP configuration and design
  • Set up time-series and order-based planning models
  • Manage integrations between IBP, S/4HANA, and other systems using CPI-DS or other interfaces
  • Build and maintain planning views, analytics, and dashboards
  • Conduct workshops, user training, and testing
  • Provide leadership and best practice guidance for global planning initiatives

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP IBP modules and planning processes (forecasting, supply, inventory optimization)
  • Experience integrating IBP with S/4HANA and external data sources
  • Familiarity with CPI-DS, HCI-DS, and Excel planning templates
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or IT
  • 7–10 years of SAP supply chain experience, including 3+ years in SAP IBP
  • SAP Certified Application Consultant – SAP Integrated Business Planning preferred
  • Experience leading end-to-end IBP implementations in large enterprises
