Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SAP S4 HANA BASIS Consultant to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis Administration and will be responsible for managing and optimizing our SAP S4 HANA environments. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to delivering high quality solutions that meet our business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Administer and support SAP S4 HANA systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability
  • Monitor system health and performance, implementing necessary adjustments and optimizations
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in accordance with best practices
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard SAP environments
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SAP Basis Administration, specifically with SAP S4 HANA
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture and system landscape
  • Experience with system installations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting SAP systems
  • Knowledge of database management (HANA, Oracle, etc.) and backup/recovery processes
  • Familiarity with SAP transport management and system copy procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud based SAP solutions and migrations
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies
  • Understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting for system management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) are a plus
