Job Description

The SAP S4 HANA Ariba Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting SAP Ariba implementations and procurement transformation programs. This position requires 4-8 years of experience in SAP Ariba, focusing on configuration, testing, and supplier enablement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams. Preferred qualifications include SAP Ariba certification and experience with SAP Activate methodology.

Job Responsibility

  • Configure and support SAP Ariba Sourcing including: RFx and Auction events, Awarding and supplier collaboration
  • Configure and support Ariba Contracts (basic to intermediate): Contract authoring and templates, Clause libraries and approvals
  • Configure and support Ariba Buying & Invoicing processes
  • Support Ariba Commerce Automation for PO and Invoice automation
  • Support Ariba–SAP S/4HANA / ECC integration using Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)
  • Assist with configuration of: Master data synchronization, Transactional flows (PO, ASN, Invoice)
  • Work closely with SAP MM, FI, and technical integration teams
  • Support supplier onboarding and enablement for Commerce Automation
  • Assist with supplier testing, transaction validation, and issue resolution
  • Help track supplier adoption metrics and resolve enablement issues
  • Prepare and execute unit testing and SIT test cases for Ariba processes
  • Support UAT, defect resolution, and business user clarification
  • Assist with data migration validation for suppliers, catalogs, and contracts
  • Support cutover and go-live activities for Ariba Sourcing and Commerce Automation
  • Provide hypercare support, troubleshooting Ariba-related issues
  • Document issues, resolutions, and process changes
  • Prepare and maintain: Functional specifications, Configuration documents, Test scripts and user guides
  • Follow SAP Activate methodology and project documentation standards

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in SAP Ariba implementations
  • Hands-on exposure to Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Commerce Automation
  • At least one full-cycle SAP Ariba implementation project
  • Strong understanding of S2C and P2P business processes
  • Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Ariba CIG integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC
  • Procurement master data and transactional integration
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in onshore–offshore and multi-country delivery models
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to SAP Ariba innovations

  • SAP Ariba certification (Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing, or Integration)
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology
