Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP / QM Lead to lead Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) workstreams in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. The role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of manufacturing and quality solution design, delivery governance, and successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA best practices. The PP / QM Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional SAP teams to drive transformation across Plan-to-Produce and Quality-to-Release processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead PP and QM workstreams in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
  • own end-to-end delivery of Plan-to-Produce, Production Execution, and Quality processes
  • act as the primary escalation point for PP / QM-related topics
  • drive solution design and hands-on configuration for SAP PP and SAP QM
  • ensure adoption of S/4HANA manufacturing and quality simplifications and innovations
  • guide decisions on Discrete vs Process Manufacturing scenarios
  • lead Fit-to-Standard (F2S) workshops and business process harmonization
  • assess and manage custom code (RICEFW) impacts for PP / QM in S/4HANA
  • lead manufacturing and quality master data conversion and validation activities
  • coordinate closely with MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM, and FI/CO teams
  • ensure seamless integration across Procure-to-Produce and Make-to-Deliver processes
  • collaborate with technical teams on enhancements and integrations
  • lead unit testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution for PP / QM
  • own cutover planning for production orders, batches, and inspection lots
  • provide go-live and hypercare support
  • ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology
  • review and approve functional designs, configurations, and test artifacts
  • mentor PP / QM consultants and support knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • 10–12+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP PP (Discrete and/or Process Manufacturing) and SAP QM
  • at least 2–3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformation projects in a Lead role
  • strong understanding of manufacturing and quality management processes

Nice to have

  • SAP S/4HANA certification in PP or QM
  • experience with SAP Activate methodology
  • industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, or Consumer Goods
