Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP / QM Consultant to support end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects. The consultant will work under the guidance of a Module Lead or Solution Architect and contribute to configuration, testing, data migration support, and post-go-live stabilization of Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) processes. The role requires strong proficiency in SAP PP and QM, with a focus on hands-on functional delivery across manufacturing and quality processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Configure and support SAP S/4HANA PP processes including Master Data, Demand Management and MRP, Production Orders and Process Orders, Capacity Planning and Production Execution
  • Configure and support SAP S/4HANA QM processes including Inspection Planning and Inspection Types, Quality Notifications and Defect Management, Usage Decisions and Results Recording, Quality Certificates and Batch Management
  • Support ECC to S/4HANA conversions or greenfield implementations
  • Apply S/4HANA manufacturing and quality simplifications and innovations
  • Assist in Fit-to-Standard (F2S) workshops and requirement clarification
  • Work closely with MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM, and FI/CO teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Support integration across Procure-to-Produce and Plan-to-Produce processes
  • Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, interfaces) for RICEFW objects impacting PP/QM
  • Prepare and execute unit testing and SIT test cases for PP and QM scenarios
  • Support UAT, defect resolution, and business user clarification
  • Assist with data migration validation for manufacturing and quality master data and open transactions
  • Support cutover activities, including production and quality data readiness
  • Provide hypercare support, troubleshooting PP/QM issues post go-live
  • Document issues, resolutions, and process changes
  • Prepare and maintain Functional specifications, Configuration documents, Test scripts and user guides
  • Follow SAP Activate methodology and project standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP functional roles
  • At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion project
  • Strong proficiency in SAP PP and QM
  • Hands-on functional delivery across manufacturing and quality processes
  • 5–8 years of SAP functional experience in SAP PP (Discrete or Process Manufacturing) and SAP QM
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality management processes
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA PP configuration
  • MRP simplifications and real-time processing
  • QM integration with MM and PP
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in onshore–offshore delivery models
  • Willingness to learn and adopt S/4HANA innovations

Nice to have:

  • SAP S/4HANA or SAP PP / QM certification
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods, or Chemicals
  • Exposure to Batch Management, Serial Numbers, and Variant Configuration
  • Knowledge on LeanIX, Signavio for process flow preparation
