Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end project planning, implementations and executions of SAP Financials with a strategic focus on General Ledger solutions, driving operational efficiency and fostering innovation
Gather requirements by engaging with internal clients - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their financial needs, business processes, and expectations
translate these into clear project requirements
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
create detailed project plans
oversee day-to-day execution to ensure successful completion within time and budget. Define success criteria or KPIs for projects
Implement solutions on P11 and based on SAP Financials, Logistics, Sales and Central Finance modules
Develop and enhance finance solutions for business improvements - Continuously assess and improve accounting processes to enhance performance, scalability, and business value
Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system stability and minimize business disruption, while implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence
Facilitate collaboration between finance, IT, operations, and other departments
align team efforts and resolve conflicts to keep the project on track
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources - Monitor and control project financials and schedules
allocate resources efficiently
adjust plans proactively to address risks or changes
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks beyond budget and timeline, including technical or compliance risks
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards - Maintain adherence to relevant laws, internal policies, and industry standards
implement controls to minimize risk and ensure audit readiness
Communicate project progress and risks to leadership - Prepare and deliver regular status reports
highlight milestones, challenges, and risk mitigation plans to senior management and sponsors. Include managing stakeholder expectations, driving adoption of new financial systems, and supporting training or communication plans related to SAP changes
Act as Local Proximity Manager for Spain’s ERP CoE team, overseeing local ERP initiatives and operations. Ensure communication of local info to employees and implementation of Safety, Wellbeing, and E&C actions. Manage local facility-related processes and support HR coordination with local HRBP and transnational managers. Assist onboarding, provide feedback on local engagement, and support sickness and return-to-work processes
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience specifically in SAP Financials solutions, demonstrating a proven track record of successful implementations
Strong project management skills in the area of SAP Finance, with a solid understanding of project lifecycle methodologies and delivering projects on time and within scope
A proactive, results-oriented team player with a "can-do" attitude, comfortable collaborating effectively within international teams and with diverse stakeholders
Excellent English & Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, challenge assumptions, and influence both business and technical audiences
Nice to have:
Experience with Central Finance is an asset
Proficiency in French and/or German is a plus
