Job Description

We are seeking a Senior SAP MM/WM Consultant to join a high-performing AMS support environment supporting Illovo. This role requires a strong functional consultant with both implementation and support experience, particularly within S/4HANA environments. You will play a key role in ensuring system stability, resolving complex issues, and supporting ongoing enhancements across procurement and warehouse management processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support across SAP MM and WM
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues such as Stock discrepancies, Procurement process failures, Warehouse movement errors
  • Manage and resolve tickets within SLA using tools like ServiceNow or SAP Solution Manager
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes
  • Handle change requests (CRs) from requirements through to implementation
  • Maintain and enhance system configuration across MM (Procurement, valuation, master data) and WM (warehouse structures, bins, storage types)
  • Develop functional specifications for ABAP developments (RICEFW objects)
  • Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing
  • Provide end-user training and support
  • Assist with month-end processes, particularly inventory and financial close
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation including test scripts and functional designs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP WM
  • Experience in both implementation and AMS/support environments
  • Senior-level consulting experience
  • Strong experience across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle
  • Expertise in Vendor & material master data, Purchase requisitions and purchase orders, Purchasing info records
  • Deep knowledge of Movement types, Stock transfers, Physical inventory, Consignment and special stocks
  • Strong configuration experience including Warehouse structures and storage bins, Transfer orders (TO), Put-away and picking strategies, RF scanner configuration
  • Experience with PO/GR/IR matching, Invoice issue resolution, Tax configuration
  • Solid understanding of integration with FICO (account determination), SD (shipping processes), PP (production planning)
  • Ability to Debug basic ABAP issues, Analyse dumps and trace IDoc failures

  • Experience supporting month-end close activities
  • Exposure to S/4HANA Business Partner (BP)
