Job Description:

Are you a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant ready to make an impact in a major public sector transformation? Our client seeks a highly experienced SAP S/4 Functional Lead to support the Record to Report (R2R) stream of a city-wide SAP S/4HANA implementation. This hybrid role involves collaborating with stakeholders, enabling future-state processes, and supporting the design, testing, and deployment phases of this critical transformation initiative.

Job Responsibility:

Support the Record to Report team providing SAP knowledge/expertise/leadership
Lead the record to report process project-related activities
Analyze record to report processes and identify areas of improvement and how these can be addressed leveraging Standard SAP functionality
Identify linkages to other key processes to support reporting, e.g. budgeting
Work in collaboration with the Business Process Lead and vendor lead, informing the design, development and configuration of the SAP solution and its integration with SAP and non-SAP solutions
Support the testing cycles (Integration Test Cycle [ITC]1,2,3 UAT) tasks
Developing test script and test cases, identification of test data, test execution, participate in defect resolution, development of risk mitigation strategies, etc., and prepping for cut-over and Go Live and post live support
Support/participate in all the phases and relevant work streams of the project, including project planning, change management, communications, testing, training, Go‐Live and post Go‐Live support activities
Support delivery of the process designs, requirements, and fit/gap developed by the Systems Integrator (SI) during the design phase
Help validate proposed functionality and alignment to design with the Systems Integrator and also provide their experience in leading best practices
Provide leadership of business processes, accounting principles, systems configuration, enhancements and data to enable related processes

Requirements:

10+ years hands-on experience in a large project/program management with Government jurisdictions and or large private sector organizations
Expertise and experience in SAP S/4HANA modules
SAP Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, Funds Management, SAP Certification FI-CO would be an asset
Expertise in configuration of S/4 HANA modules including SAP Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, Funds Management
Experience in delivering at least 2 end-to-end implementations
Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, tools across agile, waterfall, iterative methods and associated tools
Strong knowledge of test methodologies
Project excellence spanning Governance, Definition, Planning, Project Management & Control, Financials and Close-out
Strong Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
Ability to work in transformative programs
Tenacious and willing to support the team during peak volumes and workloads with various activities
Strong in process management and controls to minimize risk of exposure
Ability to lead efficient communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams and clients
Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders
