Job Description

N-iX is looking for a Senior SAP Authorizations/Roles Consultant to join our team. Our client is one of the largest banks across Ukraine with headquarters in the EU. They specialize in bank services for businesses and individuals in Ukraine and Europe.

Job Responsibility

  • Gather, analyze, and document roles and authorizations from multiple SAP Landscapes, including AM, BS, and ECC
  • Develop the Auth/Roles Concept and documentation
  • Identify areas for process improvement and provide actionable recommendations
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders
  • Support project delivery by monitoring progress and assisting in issue resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
  • Proven experience as SAP Auth./ Basis Consultant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of the authorization concept across SAP ERP environments
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar is a plus
  • Excellent communication
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with big datasets (SAP environments contain 10000+ roles and authentication to work with)

Nice to have

  • SAP Basis experience overall
  • SAP Certifications

  • Provide SAP BASIS support and perform system maintenance, etc system health checks, daily monitoring of system performance & tuning, system installation, upgrades, patching, SAP Note check & implementation, assess security-related updates and the perform relevant patching, client copies/system refreshes, transport management, and user administration
  • Participate in full cycle end to end greenfield and rollout implementation of SAP BASIS (if any)
  • Constantly improve SAP BASIS via change request or continuous enhancement projects
  • Ensure SAP BASIS always at optimal performance etc handling security and authorization, job administration, connection issues, and troubleshooting Basis-related issues
