We are seeking a high caliber Senior SAP RISE Technical Architect to spearhead the design and governance of large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformations. In this strategic leadership position, you will act as a primary technical advisor, steering enterprise organisations through the complexities of migrating to RISE with SAP within hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems. This role bridges the gap between high-level architectural vision and hands-on execution. You will be responsible for building future-proof landscapes that prioritise scalability, robust security, and the "Clean Core" philosophy.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the principal architect for end-to-end SAP S/4HANA and RISE cloud transformations
Map out target architectures that seamlessly integrate SAP S/4HANA, Business Technology Platform (BTP), and major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Provide decisive consultation on RISE adoption paths, evaluating trade-offs to ensure long-term business value
Oversee and execute sophisticated technical transitions, including Greenfield implementations, Brownfield conversions, and Selective Data Transitions
Manage high-stakes migrations (OS/DB, Unicode) and platform modernisation's
Ensure landscape performance and quality by identifying risks and resolving critical technical bottlenecks
Engineer secure, resilient cloud environments tailored for SAP workloads
Implement comprehensive identity management solutions, including SSO, MFA, and complex federation
Architect modern integration patterns utilising SAP Integration Suite (CPI), event-driven architectures, and API-first strategies
Act as a technical peer to C-suite and senior leadership, translating intricate technical roadmaps into tangible business outcomes
Facilitate architecture workshops using data visualisation and storytelling to align stakeholders
Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring junior architects and contributing to internal technical assets and best-practice frameworks
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years in SAP Basis or Technical Architecture
Current credentials in SAP S/4HANA, Basis, or Professional Architecture
Deep proficiency in SAP HANA optimisation, platform provisioning, and cloud-based OS/DB migrations
Proven track record with various S/4HANA transition methodologies (including Bluefield/Hybrid approaches)
Hands-on experience with hyperscaler infrastructure and SAP Fiori lifecycle management
Practical experience delivering RISE with SAP projects
Mastery of SAP BTP (CAP, RAP, and Event Mesh) and "Clean Core" architectural principles
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF or SAP EAF
Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD pipelines for SAP and the integration of AI/automation within the intelligent enterprise
