Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP RAR Product Owner with deep expertise in revenue recognition, SAP Order to Cash (OTC), and SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong automotive industry background and be responsible for managing the SAP RAR module that supports revenue recognition for telematics solutions. This role requires a blend of functional and technical skills, excellent communication, and leadership capabilities to drive timely resolution of production issues, collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups, and prioritize enhancement and project backlogs aligned with business value.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the product owner and subject matter expert for the SAP RAR module, focusing on revenue recognition processes within telematics and automotive contexts
  • Ensure timely resolution of all SAP RAR production issues by coordinating with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Sales, and Operations to align on solution design and implementation strategies
  • Manage and prioritize the enhancement and project backlog to ensure delivery of high-value improvements and compliance with SAP best practices
  • Maintain deep functional knowledge of SAP OTC and SAP FICO modules, specifically order to cash and record to report process areas
  • Lead business process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to revenue accounting
  • Apply Agile methodology principles to manage sprints, user stories, and team collaboration effectively
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to business users and technical teams
  • Analyze root causes of issues and lead problem-solving efforts to implement sustainable solutions
  • Advocate for SAP standards such as Clean Core to maintain system integrity and scalability
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally with diverse audiences including executives, technical teams, and business users

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP ERP roles with a focus on revenue recognition or financial modules
  • Prior experience as a product owner or lead in SAP projects preferred
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
  • Agile certification or demonstrated experience working in Agile environments is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module
  • Strong understanding of SAP OTC (Order to Cash) processes including sales order management, billing, and revenue recognition
  • Deep knowledge of SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), especially record to report processes
  • Proven experience in automotive industry ERP environments, preferably with telematics or connected vehicle solutions
  • Expertise in business process mapping, documentation, and process optimization
