Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SAP Product Owner to join the AIR Business Systems Competency Centre within BAE Systems in the UK. In this newly created role, you’ll support a SAP4HANA solution recently deployed across a number of BAE Systems entities and partners. You’ll play a key role in shaping how the product is managed and optimised, working closely with the customer community, IM&T support teams, and third-party IT partners.

Job Responsibility:

Define and prioritise requirements based on customer insight, business value, and technical feasibility
Collaborate with delivery partners to identify optimal technical solutions that meet customer and business needs
Ensure incidents and defects are logged, tracked, and managed effectively in line with SLAs
Review recurring issues to identify knowledge gaps and training needs
Report on incident and change progress through a consolidated roadmap and product backlog
Develop and manage User Stories to assess the impact of proposed changes

Requirements:

Proven experience supporting SAP implementations in a similar role
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong understanding of the IM&T/software development lifecycle
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and business value
FULL SC clearance is required
