SAP PP Senior Functional Analyst

• Provide L2/L3 support for the SAP PP module, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents and service requests according to SLAs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production orders, BOMs (Bill of Materials), routings, work centers, and capacity planning
• Perform configuration changes and functional updates to meet evolving business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO) to resolve integration issues
• Support production execution, material staging, backflushing, and shop floor control processes
• Assist in month-end closing and ensure accuracy of production cost postings
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and propose permanent solutions
• Prepare and review functional specifications for developments, reports, and enhancements
• Support testing activities (unit, integration, and UAT) and ensure smooth deployment to production
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on configurations, process flows, and support activities
• Adhere to ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management

• 6–8 years of experience as an SAP PP Functional Consultant in support or AMS projects
• Strong understanding of Discrete Manufacturing, Process Industries, or Repetitive Manufacturing
• Hands-on experience in Master Data Management (Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Center, Production Version)
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirement Planning), production order lifecycle, and capacity leveling
• Good understanding of integration points with MM, SD, QM, PM, and CO modules
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira)
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP (Advanced Planning, MRP Live, Fiori apps) is an advantage
