Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP PP/QM Consultant to join our team in Kolkata. As a SAP PP/QM Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective SAP solutions that align with organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement and configure SAP PP and QM modules to optimize production planning and quality management processes
  • Provide expertise in SAP PP functionalities including demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, capacity planning, and shop floor control
  • Define and implement quality management processes including inspection planning, quality notifications, inspections, and control
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and recommend SAP solutions
  • Participate in project planning, scoping, estimation, and execution phases
  • Conduct testing, training, and documentation activities to support SAP PP/QM implementations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PP/QM configuration and functionality
  • Stay updated with SAP latest developments and technologies to provide innovative solutions and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules with a focus on implementation and support
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and quality management processes within manufacturing industries
  • Experience in SAP configuration, customization, and integration of SAP PP and QM modules
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to have:

SAP certification in SAP PP and QM modules is preferred
