Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated SAP PLM Application Expert to join our global IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, enhancement, and architectural design of SAP PLM-related systems. You will play a key role in our transformation journey from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA, collaborating closely with international teams and stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • End-to-end responsibility for SAP PLM applications and related modules
  • Ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP PLM systems
  • Design and implement scalable and sustainable solutions, including system architecture and interface concepts
  • Handle Incidents, Service Requests, Demands, and Changes in alignment with ITIL processes and defined SLAs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in the migration and upgrade activities towards SAP S/4HANA

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in SAP PLM or other SAP modules such as MM, PP, or SD
  • Strong understanding of SAP application architecture and business processes, ideally with exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps
  • Hands-on experience with ABAP (Object-Oriented), including debugging, Smartforms, Reports, and interface technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services)
  • familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 is desirable
  • Ability to analyze existing solutions and design new concepts based on business needs, including architectural and integration designs
  • Experience in designing and reviewing technical specifications and solution architectures
  • Familiarity with integration scenarios between SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Good understanding of testing methodologies and tools
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setup, preferably in international and multicultural environments
  • SAP certifications (e.g. SAP PLM, SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA) are a strong advantage

  • Serve as the first line of support for Team Center PLM and CAD user requests, including troubleshooting issues, answering how-to questions, and escalating complex problems when needed
  • Assist engineers and other employees with accessing and managing data in Team Center, including part and BOM setup and management, and change management workflows such as review and approval processes
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, roles, permissions, and other day-to-day administrative tasks as needed
