Job Description

The SAP BASIS Consultant position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, and Azure. The role involves managing SAP landscapes, leading BASIS operations, and supporting SAP environments. Key responsibilities include system installation, performance tuning, and incident management. Strong team leadership skills are essential. This position is based in Bangalore, India, with work timings from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. IST, Monday to Friday, requiring flexibility for non-standard hours.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead SAP BASIS operations and support
  • Manage SAP landscapes (ECC / S4HANA) including Cloud services
  • SAP system installation, upgrades, patching, and refreshes
  • SAP HANA administration and performance tuning
  • Azure infrastructure management for SAP workloads
  • High availability and disaster recovery setup
  • Incident management and root cause analysis
  • Transport management and system monitoring
  • Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, and business teams
  • Mentor and guide BASIS team members

Requirements

  • 5+ years SAP BASIS experience
  • Strong SAP HANA administration and HANA Security
  • Experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
  • SAP on Azure architecture knowledge
  • System performance tuning and monitoring
  • High Availability / Disaster Recovery
  • Linux OS (SUSE / RedHat)
  • Mentor and guide BASIS team members
