Job Description

The SAP MM Lead will oversee SAP Materials Management implementations and support projects, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and inventory management, with a focus on optimizing supply chain processes. This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to lead teams and manage client expectations.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementations, upgrades, and support engagements
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions
  • Configure SAP MM modules including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, and Invoice Verification
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, logistics, and finance to optimize supply chain processes
  • Manage integration points with other SAP modules (SD, WM, FI, etc.)
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Ensure documentation of functional specifications, test cases, and training materials
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of SAP MM experience with at least 2 full-cycle implementations
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor management
  • Proficiency in SAP MM configuration and customization
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage client expectations effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • SAP certification is a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience in global rollouts and multi-country implementations
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
