The SAP MM Lead will oversee SAP Materials Management implementations and support projects, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and inventory management, with a focus on optimizing supply chain processes. This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to lead teams and manage client expectations.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementations, upgrades, and support engagements
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions
Configure SAP MM modules including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, and Invoice Verification
Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, logistics, and finance to optimize supply chain processes
Manage integration points with other SAP modules (SD, WM, FI, etc.)
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Ensure documentation of functional specifications, test cases, and training materials
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of SAP MM experience with at least 2 full-cycle implementations
Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor management
Proficiency in SAP MM configuration and customization
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to lead teams and manage client expectations effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
SAP certification is a plus
Nice to have:
Experience in global rollouts and multi-country implementations
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
