Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect (BTP) with strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and SAP PI/PO to support enterprise integration initiatives within the Retail Electronics industry. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP BTP Integration Suite and PI/PO, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting robust integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role involves understanding business requirements, designing secure and scalable integration architectures, supporting migration projects (such as SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite), and ensuring smooth operation of the integration landscape across on-premise and cloud environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Participate in global integration projects, including migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
  • Design and develop secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite
  • Develop robust iFlows for SAP and non-SAP integrations using various adapters and integration patterns
  • Work closely with functional teams to ensure all interfaces and end-to-end integration scenarios are properly tested and documented
  • Monitor and validate background jobs, inbound queues, outbound queues, and resolve interface failures
  • Design system specifications, technical standards, and integration architecture guidelines aligned with best practices
  • Perform Unit Testing and Integration Testing for integration flows and APIs
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, provide bug fixes, and optimize existing integration processes and architectures
  • Document test results, prepare user manuals, maintain issue logs, and provide regular updates in project meetings

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level integrations across on-premise and cloud environments
  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO and SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), including experience in CPI-DS
  • Strong expertise in designing and developing custom iFlows using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and working with standard integrations such as SuccessFactors and Ariba
  • Solid experience in API-based integrations and microservices architecture design patterns with understanding of integration best practices and standards
  • Hands-on experience working with standard adapters such as RFC, IDOC, JDBC, SFTP, SOAP, HTTPS, OData, HTTP, REST, and other commonly used integration protocols
  • Good knowledge of SAP interface technologies including SAP Gateway, RFC/BAPI, IDOC, and SAP Cloud Connector
  • Experience in monitoring, configuring, and performance tuning of SAP Cloud Integration environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in resolving interface errors, queue failures, and integration performance issues
  • Excellent communication skills with strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities

Nice to have:

  • Experience with other integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi
  • Familiarity with additional SAP Integration Suite components such as API Management, Event Mesh, and CPI-DS
  • Experience advising solution architects on integration best practices and architecture governance
  • Experience working in Retail or Electronics industry environments
  • Experience in large-scale integration migration programs (PI/PO to BTP Integration Suite)
