Job Description

The SAP MM Functional Consultant role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience, focusing on SAP MM implementations in an S/4 environment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead workshops and testing phases. Preferred qualifications include SAP certification and experience in FDA regulated industries.

Job Responsibility

  • Participates in sales cycle activities including scoping, building, and delivering software demonstrations
  • In-depth SAP Solutions and process knowledge including industry best practices
  • Leads fit/gap and other types of working sessions to understand needs driven by business process requirements
  • Work in conjunction with data migration personnel to lead the customer through the data mapping process
  • Creates functional specifications for development objects
  • Conducts unit testing on overall solutions including technical objects
  • Supports integration testing and user acceptance testing with customers

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • At least 3 – 4 full lifecycle SAP implementations
  • Global system implementation experience
  • Experience implementing MM in an S/4 environment
  • Experience implementing SAP Best Practices
  • Experience in leading MM Fit Gap workshops
  • Variant Configuration
  • Proficient in analyzing customer requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to analyze and drive resolution of cross-functional issues
  • Ability to function independently with minimal direction

Nice to have

  • Previous medical device and / or work experience in an FDA regulated industry
  • Knowledge of SAP S / 4 and other SAP models that would require converted data in a transformation program
  • Working knowledge of Signavio is desired
  • SAP Certifications well in a team or independently
