Job Responsibility:
Embed Peabody’s Work Management Framework across all sites, ensuring routine work, statutory work, and major component strategies are executed on time and in budget
Coach and uplift maturity across planners, supervisors, and maintenance teams to strengthen work order quality, backlog discipline, and TECO performance
Review and streamline workflows from notification through to close‑out, ensuring SAP PM supports efficient and reliable maintenance
Improve master data, BOMs, task lists, and asset hierarchies, working with engineering and asset strategy teams
Act as the business lead for SAP PM, partnering with the SAP Business Applications team on enhancements, testing, upgrades, and improvements
Support integration with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure materials, cost centres, and financial processes align with operational needs
Drive reporting visibility across backlog age, schedule adherence, data quality, routine PM compliance, and workflow health
Conduct regular site visits to identify bottlenecks, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Trade, engineering, or tertiary qualification in a maintenance‑related field
7+ years’ experience in maintenance leadership, planning, work management, or reliability—ideally in coal or heavy industry
Strong hands‑on experience with SAP PM, including notifications, work orders, strategies, task lists, and master data
Understanding of key integration points across Supply Chain (MM) and Finance (FI/CO)
Demonstrated capability in process improvement or work management uplift
