Job Description:

We are looking for a SAP Consultant (SD/MM) to join our Information Technology & Digital Strategy team in our Athens Offices. By joining this role, you’ll analyze business requirements, configure and customize SAP solutions, support implementation and optimization to improve business processes and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze business requirements, configure and customize SAP solutions, support implementation and optimization to improve business processes and efficiency
  • Participate in new implementations in the Group SAP ecosystem
  • Work closely with Business Process Owners, external Business advisors in business requirements gathering and analysis, SAP solutions design, implementation, training and user support
  • Contribute to the upgrading of the SAP ecosystem and supports technical specialists in the multi-system application architecture
  • Act as the internal technical Lead in SAP implementations in the area of SAP LOGISTICS (SD/MM) and supports project management activities in such projects
  • Investigate and troubleshoots SAP-related issues raised by business users via the ticketing system in collaboration with external advisors
  • Work closely and oversees the SAP system integrators ensuring solutions meet the company’s requirements acting as the liaison between Business users and the integrators
  • Provide expertise on application architecture design or improvements in the area of SAP LOGISTICS (SD/MM)
  • Provide consultancy support to internal clients and software application technical team members in all aspects of enabling technologies to meet business needs
  • Support the preparation of RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s for seeking SAP solutions & services proposals in the organization’s vendor ecosystem
  • Facilitate actions for the compliance of SAP solutions with applicable Corporate Policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Computer Science or any other related discipline
  • 4+ years of relevant SAP LOGISTICS (SD/MM) functional experience including participation in at least 2 full-cycle projects ideally in SAP S/4HANA implementations
  • Working knowledge of other SAP Modules and the integration among them will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of ABAP will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication, facilitation
  • Strong capability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users
  • Strong analytical skills
  • ability to perform complex system analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources, including root-cause analysis and issue resolution

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of other SAP Modules and the integration among them
  • Knowledge of ABAP
