Job Description

Configures, implements, and supports technical master data (devices, registers, installation) and AMI scenarios. Key duties include designing meter to cash processes, managing device lifecycles (installation, replacement, removal), and integrating DM with billing and AMI.

Job Responsibility

  • Configuration & Implementation: Configure SAP IS U DM components (device installation, meter reading, meter inspection, and device replacement) and perform end to end (E2E) testing
  • Master Data Management: Manage technical master data including connection objects, premises, installations, and device structures
  • AMI/Smart Metering: Integrate Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) with SAP IS U for automatic meter reading and remote disconnects
  • Functional Design: Create functional specifications (FS) for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) and collaborate with technical teams
  • Business Process Management: Map business requirements for new connections, Move in/Move out, and billing scenarios
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to billing, device reading, and device management in S/4HANA or ERP systems.

Requirements

  • Experience: Generally 3 10+ years in SAP IS U, with at least 1 2 full cycle implementation projects
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of meter to cash and utility industry device lifecycles
  • Integration Knowledge: Knowledge of cross module integration with Device Management (DM), Billing & Invoicing (BI), and Contract Accounting (FICA)
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of ABAP debugging and SAP S/4HANA Utilities is often preferred.
