The role requires a strong understanding of SAP processes, engineering data structures and interface technologies. This is not a classic PLM business consultant role — it is a developer-minded, integration-driven position designed to ensure stable and reliable data flows across the engineering and manufacturing landscape.

  • Translate engineering process requirements into technical specifications and integration logic
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define data validation rules, naming logic, and revision standards for incoming engineering data
  • Develop and enhance SAP-side solutions related to engineering and technical data (e.g., pricing logic, classification, document handling)
  • Prepare technical documentation, guidelines, and integration-related process instructions
  • Support SAP master data processes to ensure alignment with upstream and downstream processes
  • Work closely with engineering, IT, and external partners to align technical flows across systems

Requirements

  • Practical experience or strong interest in ABAP development, including enhancements, user exits, BADIs, function modules, and debugging
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP CPI and OData-based integrations, especially in the context of engineering or PLM-related processes is considered an advantage
  • Understanding of engineering data structures, document models, classification, and revision logic, with the ability to translate them into SAP technical objects
  • Familiarity with PDM/PLM/CAD environments (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, SolidWorks PDM, SAP ECTR) and how they interact with SAP
  • Solid grasp of SAP master data concepts (materials, documents, classification) to ensure correct alignment of technical flows
  • Cross-module processes understanding will be advantage
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach
  • Ability to communicate clearly with IT peers, developers, and engineering teams
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience is considered a strong plus
