Job Description

This senior role serves as the critical functional bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. You will be responsible for designing, validating, and enabling SAP S/4HANA-based HR processes that tightly align corporate objectives with SAP standard capabilities. A major priority of this position is managing complex cross-platform integrations, ensuring a seamless interface between the S/4HANA Core and key platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Fieldglass. Adhering strictly to clean-core principles, you will minimize customization to build an upgrade-safe, scalable, and highly automated human resources ecosystem.

Job Responsibility

  • Guide the design and validation of SAP S/4HANA Human Resources processes to ensure alignment with standard capabilities
  • Translate complex business requirements into fit-to-standard designs while identifying process inefficiencies to promote standardization and automation
  • Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, documenting justified deviations and ensuring designs remain upgrade-safe and scalable
  • Evaluate functional gaps and recommend appropriate solutions (configurations or standard extensions) in strict alignment with Clean Core principles
  • Collaborate across technical and functional groups—including Cybersecurity, Security and Governance, and HR Project Teams—to ensure unified process execution
  • Validate and confirm integration requirements between the S/4HANA Core and external ecosystems, including Workday, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, and analytics platforms
  • Partner closely with system integrators to review, refine, and approve functional designs, ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Support functional decision-making within the governance framework, managing boundaries to mitigate late design changes and scope creep
  • Define real-world functional test scenarios covering cross-system processes across SAP and Workday
  • Validate HR master and transactional data readiness, establishing minimum standards for cutover, integration testing, and data integrity
  • Contribute to training frameworks and change enablement workflows to enable a stable go-live and smooth day-one transition to operations

Requirements

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 8+ years of dedicated SAP Human Resources experience, including involvement in at least one major ERP implementation or transformation program
  • Substantial experience in IS support and enhancement workflows, alongside hands-on validation of enterprise ERP modernization solutions
  • Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA HR, encompassing the full worker lifecycle (hire-to-retire), payroll, compensation, and time management
  • Comprehensive understanding of data frameworks, master/transactional data integrity, and SAP reporting approaches (including embedded analytics)
  • Working knowledge of platform dynamics between S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, Workday, and integrated analytics landscapes

Nice to have

  • Human Resources, SAP, or Workday credentials (e.g., SAP HCM Core, SAP HCM Payroll, Workday HCM Core, Workday Pro HCM, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central)
  • Testing or delivery methodologies certifications (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, Agile/Scrum)
