Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to support and deliver SAP solutions within a large-scale retail environment. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, and implement SAP solutions that enable core retail processes and support business growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions
  • Configure and support SAP modules in line with retail business processes
  • Deliver full lifecycle SAP project work including blueprinting, realisation, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support
  • Work closely with technical teams (ABAP, integration, basis) to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Support system enhancements, change requests, and incident resolution
  • Facilitate workshops, UAT, and end-user training as required
  • Ensure solutions align with best practices, governance standards, and business strategy

Requirements:

  • Strong experience as an SAP Functional Consultant within a retail or FMCG environment
  • Hands-on configuration experience in one or more SAP modules (e.g. FI/CO, MM, SD, EWM, CAR, F&R, IS-Retail)
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end retail processes (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Finance, Supply Chain)
  • Experience working on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile and/or traditional delivery environments

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience on large, complex retail SAP landscapes
  • S/4HANA migration or transformation project exposure
  • Experience working with multiple business units or regions
