Job Description

The SAP Finance Value Stream Owner is accountable for the end to end design, delivery, operational stability, and continuous improvement of Finance processes across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Product Costing, and Controlling (CO). This includes direct, hands on involvement in incident resolution, functional troubleshooting, and supporting enhancements across the Finance and Controlling domains. The role ensures that Bombardier’s Finance processes, SAP solution landscape, and BIS roadmap remain aligned, standardized, and optimized to deliver measurable business value.

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for the end to end design, delivery, operational stability, and continuous improvement of Finance processes across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Product Costing, and Controlling (CO)
  • Act as the primary hands on SAP FI/CO functional expert, actively resolving incidents, analyzing root causes, testing fixes, and validating technical solutions
  • Lead daily operational activities with vendors and internal stakeholders for AP, AR, Costing, and CO
  • Manage incident, problem, and change processes for the Finance value stream
  • Translate business needs into high quality BIS requirements
  • Prepare SAP solution documentation, troubleshooting guides, and functional design specifications
  • Support integration design across SAP ECC and S4 HANA ecosystems
  • Partner closely with Finance and Operations to continuously assess processes and opportunities for automation, simplification, and SAP standard adoption
  • Support readiness and transition activities for S/4HANA where applicable

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or a related field
  • 7–10+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, including configuration and incident troubleshooting
  • Deep functional knowledge in AP, AR, Product Costing (CO PC), and Controlling (CO)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate with business leaders and translate Finance needs into SAP solutions for small projects
  • Experience managing change, user adoption, and cross functional integration
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken, in French and English

Nice to have

  • Strong knowledge of cost flow analysis
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and infrastructure concepts
