Job Description:

The jobholder will be responsible for managing the SAP FI / CO Accounting Systems Team, which is part of Airbus GBS Tech Hub. Operational Responsibilities: On the S/4 HANA SAP solutions covering General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Tax, Cost accounting, the jobholder will have the responsibility to support Airbus worldwide accounting users network, for 80+ legal entities of the Airbus Commercial and Helicopters divisions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the SAP FI / CO Accounting Systems Team
  • Support Airbus worldwide accounting users network for 80+ legal entities
  • Incident support: collect incidents, analyze, propose and apply solutions
  • Functional Support requests: collect, analyze, prioritize and answer
  • Small system evolution requests: collect, analyze, design, customize, test and deliver
  • Prioritize topics with SAP FI/CO product responsible
  • Validate solutions with SAP FI/CO product responsible
  • Update relevant SAP FICO product documentation
  • Responsible for the quality of the whole support process
  • Propose permanent improvements in process or ticketing tools
  • Team Management responsibilities: performance assessment, compensation, competencies assessment, development, training and career path design
  • Active contribution to the team strategy
  • Identify, propose and implement solutions for improvement
  • Ensure strict compliance with GBS and HR policies and procedures
  • Support the AGBS recruitment and onboarding newcomers
  • Share and cascade central information to the local team
  • Manage and balance the team workload
  • Update relevant SAP FICO documentation
  • Ensure team deliverables quality

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree related to IT, Finance, Business Administration
  • At least 5 years experience in a corporate environment and in a leadership position
  • Experience in SAP R/3 or SAP S/4 HANA
  • Good understanding of Business Processes in the Finance area (R2A, P2P, O2C…)
  • Awareness and sensitivity to other cultures and ability to effectively work with colleagues in other countries and regions
  • Positive, energetic, assertive, collaborative, resilient and solution-oriented attitude
  • Robust analytical, critical thinking capabilities and effective decision making skills
