Job Description

Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead from FICO perspective, including local legal compliance requirement implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration and continuous improvement projects across multiple business units and geographies
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and align them with SAP FICO capabilities
  • Configure SAP FICO modules including GL, AP, AR, Tax, AA, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA, CO-PC, and Banking to meet business needs
  • Communicate new functionalities, system changes, and relevant processes to business partners clearly and effectively
  • Engage in SAP integration with other modules like MM, SD, PS, and HCM ensuring smooth end-to-end process flows
  • Partner with ABAP development teams to design functional specifications (FDS) and oversee RICEFW developments
  • Conduct and support end-to-end testing activities, including unit testing, regression testing, and UAT in coordination with business users
  • Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, training materials, and knowledge articles
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize SAP FICO processes and solutions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and high-quality deliverables

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 6-8+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting, including full-cycle implementations and post-go-live support
  • Expertise in SAP FICO core modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CCA, PCA, IO, COPA, CO-PC)
  • Strong knowledge of cross-module integration points with MM, SD, PS, RAR and HCM
  • Skilled in writing detailed Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and collaborating on RICEFW objects with ABAP developers
  • Experience in SAP data migration, cutover planning, and reconciliation
  • Demonstrated success in leading FICO efforts and training business users in SAP FICO processes
  • Experience in development of solution for E-Invoice, Tax, SAFT, DMEE etc. requirements
  • Knowledge of Central Finance (CFIN) is desired
  • Finance domain knowledge is desired
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams
  • Ability to work in a complex, global enterprise environment and lead across multiple initiatives simultaneously
