Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP FICO Consultant to join our Managed Services team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring deep functional expertise across SAP Finance and Controlling. You will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our SAP Finance customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing enhancements. This role demands excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide end-to-end support for SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and core Controlling processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, master data, and transactional issues across FICO
  • Support period-end closing activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
  • Collaborate with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PM, and Billing for cross-functional issue resolution and integration support
  • Develop and implement enhancements, reports, and custom developments according to business requirements
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications and test scripts
  • Provide end-to-end business solutions and map client business requirements to system processes
  • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service
  • Liaise with clients to investigate, analyse, and resolve complex issues
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work within a remote consulting support team, adhering to service management systems, processes, and SLAs
  • Provide timely and accurate work specifications and estimates
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities for repeat business

Requirements:

  • Deep, expert-level knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud, On-Premises) and ECC Finance, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Tax, and Banking
  • Strong understanding of integration points between FICO and other modules (MM, SD, PM, Billing, Purchasing, Workflow, Concur)
  • Proven experience in full project lifecycle implementations and development activities
  • Expert configuration, design and testing abilities in core FICO modules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Proven experience in a combined customer service and functional support role (consulting environment preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage own workload to tight deadlines
  • Initiative-taking, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional and supportive manner
