We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP FICO Consultant to join our Managed Services team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring deep functional expertise across SAP Finance and Controlling. You will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our SAP Finance customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing enhancements. This role demands excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide end-to-end support for SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and core Controlling processes
Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, master data, and transactional issues across FICO
Support period-end closing activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
Collaborate with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PM, and Billing for cross-functional issue resolution and integration support
Develop and implement enhancements, reports, and custom developments according to business requirements
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications and test scripts
Provide end-to-end business solutions and map client business requirements to system processes
Act as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service
Liaise with clients to investigate, analyse, and resolve complex issues
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Work within a remote consulting support team, adhering to service management systems, processes, and SLAs
Provide timely and accurate work specifications and estimates
Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues
Recognize and pursue opportunities for repeat business
Requirements:
Deep, expert-level knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud, On-Premises) and ECC Finance, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Tax, and Banking
Strong understanding of integration points between FICO and other modules (MM, SD, PM, Billing, Purchasing, Workflow, Concur)
Proven experience in full project lifecycle implementations and development activities
Expert configuration, design and testing abilities in core FICO modules
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
Proven experience in a combined customer service and functional support role (consulting environment preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage own workload to tight deadlines
