Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in the Automobile Industry to design, implement, and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The financial role focuses on optimizing processes for vehicle manufacturing, spare parts logistics, dealer networks, warranty management, and intercompany transactions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting
  • Manage intercompany reconciliation for manufacturing plants, sales offices, and dealers
  • Implement automotive-specific payment terms, credit limits, and dunning for dealer networks
  • Configure Taxation (GST, VAT, Excise Duty) as per regional automotive regulations
  • Support parallel accounting (IFRS & Local GAAP) for global reporting
  • Design and implement Product Costing (CO-PC): Material Ledger (Actual Costing – CKMLCP), Production Order Costing with variance analysis, Costing runs for vehicle variants and spare parts
  • Configure Profitability Analysis (CO-PA): Margin analysis by vehicle model, region, dealer, and channel, COPA derivation for sales orders and billing documents
  • Set up Cost Center Accounting (CCA) and Internal Orders for plant overheads, R&D, and marketing campaigns
  • Support Profit Center Accounting (PCA) with transfer pricing for intercompany spare parts sales
  • Warranty Cost Controlling: Accrual, settlement, and analysis of warranty provisions
  • Dealer Incentive & Bonus Management: Automated calculation and payout via FI-CA or SD integration
  • Spare Parts Logistics Costing: Handling obsolescence, slow-moving inventory, and logistics cost allocation
  • Make-to-Order (MTO) / Configure-to-Order (CTO) costing for custom vehicles
  • Production Variance Analysis: Quantity, price, and resource usage variances in assembly lines
  • Seamless integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, PS, and DMS modules
  • Design Fiori dashboards and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reports for: Plant-wise P&L, Vehicle model profitability, Dealer performance, Warranty cost trends
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities with automated workflows
  • Lead SAP S/4HANA greenfield/brownfield implementations or migrations
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and user training
  • Provide L3 production support and resolve critical incidents
  • Collaborate with ABAP, Basis, and security teams for enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / master's in finance, Accounting, CA, ICWA, MBA (Finance), or BE/B.Tech with relevant experience
  • 7+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience with at least 2 end-to-end implementations
  • Mandatory: S/4HANA FICO (1909 or higher) – Central Finance experience is a plus
