Job Description:

We are seeking an SAP FICO Consultant to join the EVO Functional Operations team, supporting the design, analysis and implementation of core finance processes within SAP. The role involves working across multiple SAP FICO modules, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, participating in solution design workshops, supporting UAT, resolving integration issues, and contributing to process documentation. This position is based in Pune, Bangalore or Ahmedabad and may require occasional travel.

Job Responsibility:

Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions
Design and implement end-to-end solutions across core FICO modules, including testing and UAT support
Identify integration issues and collaborate with technical teams to develop appropriate solutions
Work closely with internal experts, business stakeholders and SI partners to resolve development-related issues
Provide clarity and guidance on finance processes and system capabilities to end users and auditors
Build strong stakeholder relationships across Vodafone operating companies
Support data owners in resolving FICO-related data issues
Participate in design workshops, contributing expertise across complex SAP environments
Maintain process documentation and provide coordinated input into training materials
Plan and deliver solutions independently, escalating issues and risks where required
Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and continuous learning behaviours aligned to Vodafone Way values

Requirements:

Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering, Finance (MBA), CA, ICWA or CFA
2–4 years of SAP FICO consulting or implementation experience
Hands-on experience in core modules including GL (new GL), AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, RE-FX, Investment Management, Project Systems, Banking, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany Accounting, and Budgeting & Planning
Exposure to niche FICO modules such as In-House Cash, Travel & Expenses, or GRC (desirable)
Knowledge of tax tools such as SABRIX (beneficial)
Experience with manufacturing or telecom clients
Strong analytical, communication and facilitation skills
Ability to work collaboratively within large, global teams and in shift or shadow modes if required

ITIL knowledge preferred

Nice to have:

Exposure to niche FICO modules such as In-House Cash, Travel & Expenses, or GRC
Knowledge of tax tools such as SABRIX
