The SAP FICO Consultant will lead the Record-to-Report process, focusing on General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Fixed Assets. The role requires strong SAP FI functional expertise and the ability to support month-end close activities and financial reporting. Collaboration with finance stakeholders and providing end-user training are key responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and support end-to-end RTR processes including: General Ledger (GL), Journal Entries, Intercompany Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accruals & Provisions, Period-End and Year-End Close
Support month-end close activities and closing timelines
Support financial reporting and statutory requirements
Configure and support SAP FI modules including: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting
Manage integration points between FI and other SAP modules (Ariba, MM, EWM)
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Conduct system testing (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) as needed
Provide production support and resolve defects/issues
Support integration between SAP FI and SAP Project Systems (PS) and Ariba
Manage project cost tracking, WBS elements, and settlement processes
Ensure accurate financial postings related to project accounting
Work closely with Finance business stakeholders
Support SAP implementations, rollouts, enhancements
Prepare documentation including functional specs, process flows, and training materials
Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer
