Job Description

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a SAP FI/CO Specialist for Finance Transformation (f/m) to join our Finance Transformation Department based in Marignane, France. You will join the Finance Transformation & Systems team at Airbus Helicopters, working in an international, multicultural environment connected with the global Airbus Finance network.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as FI/CO subject matter expert across projects and workstreams, delivering automated, reliable, state-of-the-art SAP solutions
  • Manage the full project life cycle, from concept definition to entry into service
  • Contribute to and/or lead multifunctional project teams (Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, and IM)
  • Drive change management within the Finance community
  • Support business partners during test execution and validation phases
  • Collaborate with IM on solution design and validation
  • Ensure continuous stability, reliability, quality, and performance of Airbus Finance Systems
  • Anticipate system evolutions, propose enhancements, and secure long-term scalability
  • Work closely with Finance business representatives to align solutions with operational needs
  • Actively support initiatives linked to Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Be available to travel as required by business needs
  • Design and maintain SAP FI/CO processes within the new S/4 HANA program, ensuring cutting-edge practices and alignment with Airbus Group Finance strategy
  • Act as a key partner in transforming Finance operations by leveraging SAP S/4 capabilities to harmonize and modernize processes
  • Contribute to strategic projects aligning business and IT priorities across geographies
  • Support the Central Finance rollout across Airbus Group: coordinate deployments, ensure smooth integration with Finance/IT/Operations, and enable digital finance harmonization
  • Lead planning and execution of cutover activities during system migrations, including initial load
  • Oversee ECC6 upgrade preparation, coordinating non-regression testing
  • Serve as focal point for the Taiwan One Roof central finance rollout, supporting onboarding, training, and cross-site consistency
  • Act as interface between business and IT: translate needs into specifications, support UAT, and drive change readiness and adoption

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Finance Systems, SAP ERP, SAP BI, and transformation projects
  • Strong finance and technical background, combined with proven project management expertise and a passion for systems and new technologies
  • Solid track record in full-cycle SAP FI-CO / PS implementation projects
  • Additional knowledge of Logistics and Manufacturing SAP modules (MM-IV, PP, SD)
  • Deep understanding of Finance business processes, particularly: Cost Accounting & Controlling, Procure-to-Pay, Manufacturing and Logistics, including integration impacts within an SAP environment
  • Hands-on expertise with tools, frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements relevant to Finance Systems in large, international organizations
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a teamwork-driven mindset and ability to thrive in multicultural, international environments
  • Curiosity and drive to promote new ideas and innovative ways of working
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to bridge Finance and IT communities
  • Fluent in English (negotiation level)
  • This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities
