SAP FI/CO Lead

• Configure SAP ECC financial structures including house banks, general ledger, tax codes, and other needed configuration to support compliant payment and reconciliation processes
• Define and support outbound payment processing requirements using ISO 20022 XML standards, including file structure, validations, control totals, and technical attributes
• Support multiple payment types and standards such as SEPA and international payments, including payment grouping, prioritization, multi currency handling, and exception processing
• Design and support payment run logic covering invoice selection, consolidation rules, integration with invoice solutions, and end to end traceability
• Remittance/Payment advice configuration & Integration
• Enable & automate inbound financial file processing (e.g., camt / MT formats) and support accurate posting and cash reconciliation within SAP ECC
• Define automated posting, matching, and clearing rules to support straight through processing and timely financial close
• Collaborate with technical and middleware teams on interface design, file transmission requirements, monitoring, and error handling
• Lead and support functional testing activities including UAT, regression testing, and post go live stabilization
• Document all the requirements in Functional & Technical Design Document

• 13+ years of SAP FI/CO experience
• 10+ years of AP/Tax experience
• 3+ years of European payment and tax
• Strong hands on experience with SAP ECC Finance, including RTR, AP, and Cash Management
• Experience working with European XML based bank integrations, bank statements, and payment standards
• Experience with SAP Ariba, specifically invoice processing and integration with SAP ECC
• Solid understanding of US Tax and European VAT tax code determination within SAP ECC without Vertex

Understanding of electronic invoicing (e invoicing), particularly European regulatory requirements & related ECC set up
