Job Description

The SAP EDI Specialist role at NTT DATA involves developing and managing B2B and EDI integrations. Candidates should have at least four years of ABAP development and B2B EDI experience. Job Responsibility

  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all business-to-business (B2B) and electronic data integration (EDI) related developments for the organization
  • Responsible for analyzing and designing specifications used for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces, and mappings
  • Lead EDI testing and implementations including writing test scripts and executing test scripts
  • Prepare, review and approve requirements and design specifications for changes and new solutions
  • Provide technical and functional support to other IT/Business unit personnel in the performance of EDI/B2B Systems

Requirements

  • Minimum four years' ABAP development experience
  • Minimum four years' experience with B2B EDI in SAP
  • Thorough understanding of B2B, common EDI transaction types (812, 850, 810, 844, 849, etc), and the data communications protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and AS2
  • Design and build experience with EDI documents
  • Thorough knowledge of EDI systems Gentran, Axway and Application Integration Suites
