  • Align all architectural decisions with the Salesforce product roadmap, enterprise architecture principles, and internal standards
  • Define configuration standards, design patterns, and guardrails for functional and technical teams
  • Review and approve functional designs across workstreams (Sales, Service, CLM, Integration, Data, RFP, etc.)
  • Translate business strategies and requirements into holistic Salesforce solutions that balance user experience, performance, and compliance
  • Ensure alignment between technical teams, functional SMEs, and business owners to deliver solutions on schedule

  • Support data strategy activities, including data migration, mapping, and cleansing (in collaboration with Data Lead and SI)
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout discovery, design, build, testing, and cutover phases
  • Review solution designs to ensure adherence to best practices, security frameworks, and change control processes
  • Support DevOps alignment, including environment strategy, release sequencing, and deployment governance
  • Guide the development and configuration teams toward “stay out-of-the-box” principles when possible
  • Act as the client’s architectural counterpart to the System Integrator’s solution architect
  • Participate in workshops, design reviews, RFP evaluations, and architecture decision records
  • Communicate architectural risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to program leadership and executive stakeholders

Requirements

  • 7+ years architecting solutions on Salesforce (Sales Cloud required

  • Experience with multi cloud architectures and large-scale enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware patterns, and enterprise data flows

  • Strong understanding of governance, DevOps, environments, and release management
  • Exceptional communication and executive level presentation abilities
  • Strong influencing skills across technical and non technical teams
  • Ability to balance strategic architecture with practical delivery constraints

Nice to have

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, CTA, Sales & Service Cloud Consultant)
  • Experience with CLM solutions such as Agiloft or similar technology
  • Background supporting global, multi region Salesforce deployments
