This is a Business Process Owner role within the Financial Planning and Analysis function under SAP CO. You are required to have a strong Finance business process (specifically within SAP FP&A) & SAP CO functional configuration experience. Those SAP CO consultant who is interested in doing more on Business Process - continous enhancement, architecturing, design, master list, global standardisation etc would be ideal for this role. SAP CO Business Users / Finance Operation who involved in CO implementation but less on IT will not be ideal for this role. You will work together with other BPOs, Finance Manager / other Key Business Users, functional & technical consultants (internal & vendor), Project Manager, Solution Architect and others in a day to day support / project within SAP CO.
Job Responsibility:
Participate in design processes, data organisation and the analysis of the pros and cons of each alternative solution
Identify potential cross company analysis and reporting to leverage the global SAP capabilities
Create a Finance Core Module that meet both legal and business requirements by continously identifying & analyse future needs and design organizations, processes and SAP system
Work closely with other BPOs to design the best updated integrated finance flows align with business needs and current technologies
Create and record detailed CO accounting flows in an end to end perspective (in compliance with IFRS & local GAAP)
Execute necessary testing (build test plan) to validate functional efficiency of the new customised system (new process, upgrade, roll out etc)
Create procedures for periodic integrity verification for integrated processes (sales book SD, production closing, purchase book MM versus revenue or cost recorded in FI/CO)
Conduct Gap Analysis workshops, ensure the designed solution align with business requirement
Sustain and improve the Finance Business Process Master List (BPML), the process documentation (work instructions), WW organizational master data (G/L account, profit centers etc), data re-allocation based on new requirements
Establish Service Evolution Request, follow the progress, test and approve release in production system
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in SAP CO within implementation project and/or support (L3)
At least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis
Strong SAP CO consultant who wants to migrate to Business Process Owner role within SAP CO
Exposure on either one of these: IFRS / change in business rules / tax compliance / local GAAP
Exposure in creating and maintaining global template
Integration exposure of either: SAP MM / SAP SD / SAP PP / SAP PLM / SAP SAC
