Job Description:

The SAP Business Data Cloud Consultant role involves providing comprehensive support for SAP Business Data Cloud, ensuring data integrity, and resolving integration issues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide end-to-end support for SAP Business Data Cloud, including monitoring data flows and resolving integration issues
  • Manage and troubleshoot SAP Datasphere data models, data flows, and replication tasks to ensure data integrity across connected systems
  • Support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards, storyboards, and planning models
  • handle data connection issues (live/import) and user access
  • Monitor and manage SAP Databricks integrations
  • assist in supporting AI/ML pipelines and data science notebooks
  • Deliver AMS support for SAP Business Warehouse Cloud models, queries, and integration with SAC or third-party systems
  • Support Intelligent Applications in the BDC ecosystem, including issue resolution, system monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Assist with Business AI operationalization, monitoring AI/ML models, and triaging prediction accuracy or drift issues
  • Work closely with functional and business users to resolve data quality and transformation issues across BDC layers
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose preventive actions for recurring incidents across all solution areas
  • Support change management, testing, and deployment activities for enhancements or configuration changes
  • Deliver functional support (Finance and HR) and enhancements for Intelligent Applications, working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and configure business logic

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience developing microservices
  • SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) certification or willingness to obtain it shortly after joining
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Business Warehouse Cloud
  • Knowledge of SAP Databricks integration and AI/ML pipeline support
  • Techno-functional expertise for managing change requests and configuring business logic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Intelligent Applications and Business AI would be nice to have
  • Familiarity with Finance and HR processes in SAP would be nice to have
