Requirements:

Relevant certifications in SAP HANA or S4 HANA such as SAP Certified Technology Specialist – SAP HANA Installation or SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA, preferred but not required
10+ years of experience with Hands-on experience in database concepts, data modeling, and database management systems (SAP HANA and more recently S4 HANA)
Knowledge of architecture, administration, data provisioning, data modeling, and performance optimization
Proficiency in designing and optimizing database structures, including data models, tables, indexes, and partitions, to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of data
Analysis and optimization of database performance by monitoring performance metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and fine-tuning configuration parameters
Planning and executing data migration from legacy systems to S4 HANA, as well as integrating S4 HANA with other systems and applications
Knowledge and adherence to database security principles and best practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance requirements such as (ITAR/EAR/DFAR)
Proficiency in troubleshooting database-related issues, performing regular maintenance tasks like backup and recovery, and applying patches and upgrades
