Job Description:

The SAP Basis Team Lead role at NTT DATA requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA and cloud migrations. The candidate will manage SAP Basis administration, lead technical discussions, and optimize SAP performance. A bachelor’s degree in computer science is required, along with bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish. This full-time position involves significant travel and offers a competitive salary.

Job Responsibility:

  • Automation of routine manual processes
  • Experience in Leading and drives solution discussions both with business and other IT personnel
  • Experience in designing and developing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP
  • Manage OS/DB/Platform/Cloud migrations
  • Full life-cycle SAP implementations experience using a recognized methodology
  • Provide expertise in SAP Business Suite administration
  • Aadvise customers on the optimal and efficient execution of SAP migrations
  • Deliver Basis support for S/4 HANA conversions
  • Provide high-level DBA and SAP Basis support for HANA DB
  • Installing and configuring SAP S/4HANA solutions
  • Tuning SAP performance and optimizing system performance
  • Understanding End2End processes and provide recommendations for possible improvements
  • Supporting technical architecture and development teams
  • Ability to lead discussions and interact with client management
  • Administer the SAP database with Database Administrator
  • Perform SAP client administration
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades
  • Manage all non-HANA DB administration and operations
  • Contributing to the SAP Technology Practice
  • Showcasing expertise in cloud infrastructure architecture
  • Developing SAP S/4HANA technical architecture and cloud hosting strategies

Requirements:

  • Requires +10 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC Basis experience
  • 1 SAP implementation full life-cycle experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel at least 80%
