Carrier Digital Hub India is looking for a passionate candidate to join our Digital ERP CoE team. As part of Carrier's digital transformation, this role is the Specialist for The SAP Basis Consultant and will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and support of SAP technical landscapes, ensuring system availability, performance, and stability across development, quality, and production environments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in information technology with hands-on responsibilities in SAP Basis administration, supporting complex, multi-system SAP landscapes
  • Minimum 4+ years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP Basis project delivery or production support, including system monitoring, transports, upgrades, patches, and incident management
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Basis, covering system administration, performance tuning, background jobs, transport management, backup and recovery, and OS/DB coordination, with a strong results orientation focused on system stability and team delivery
  • Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Open and able to work in culturally diverse environment
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy
