Job Description:

The SAP Basis Consultant at NTT DATA will manage SAP systems, support upgrades, and ensure optimal performance. The role requires a graduate degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency in SAP administration are essential. The consultant will work in multiple shifts and lead the basis support team.

Requirements:

Typically requires 8+ years relevant experience

Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources

Database restoration and recovery

Planning and managing support packages and kernel patch upgradations, client copies/ transports
Planning and executing database upgrades
Database Verification
Oracle parameter review and analysis and recommendations for changes to optimize performance
Increasing Online redo log groups
Evaluating Results of the DB System Check
SDCC monitoring and management
Configuration of EWA
Designing, setting up and reorganization of SAP system landscapes
Defining standard operating procedures for backups and restoration
Change management etc
Checking and Managing CBO statistics
Automatic Note application through SNOTE

SCOT Configuration
DB and index reorganization
Resolution of dead locks and timeouts
Maintenance and monitoring of DR standby server, if available

Configuring/ re-configuring system log / alert thresholds

Coordination with and supporting the functional team as per requirements
